Data centers

We buy surplus wire from data center projects

Technical buildings buy specific cable early, then change the design. The reels are usually still sealed and still tagged.

Data center work is specified to the connector: tray cable counts, VFD cable for cooling equipment, large copper feeders and communication cable, all bought against a design that sometimes moves before installation.

Because the material is ordered early and documented carefully, the surplus tends to be high-quality stock with legible tags.

What we buy from data centers

Tray and VFD cable

Specific conductor counts and shielded constructions bought for mechanical and electrical rooms.

Large copper feeders

Parallel feeder sets in sizes that are expensive per foot and rarely used completely.

Communication cable

Sealed boxes and reels of copper and fiber left after a fit-out.

Data centers — wire and cable only, in any quantity worth a pickup.

What we need from you

  • Reel tags and delivery records where available
  • Conductor counts for tray and VFD cable
  • Footage per reel, and whether reels are sealed

Documented material, documented price

Technical projects generate paperwork. Where reel tags, delivery records and test data exist, they shorten the evaluation and usually improve the number, because the material can be returned to service rather than treated as unknown.

Wire and cable only

We do not buy transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery, poles or unrelated scrap. Mixed loads are fine as long as we are quoting the wire portion.

Data centers questions

Do you buy communication and fiber cable?
Copper communication cable is reviewed. Fiber is a narrow market and needs the type and connector details.
Can you handle a secure site?
Yes, with your access and escort requirements built into the schedule.
Do you buy partial reels from a fit-out?
Yes, and partials with readable legends are the normal case.
