We buy surplus electrical wire and cable across North Carolina. That is the whole business — one material category, bought properly, with the type and footage treated as the important part.

Why a wire-only buyer is easier to deal with

A general scrap operation pays you for weight. A wire buyer pays you for what the wire is: its type, its voltage class, its conductor material and how much of the reel is left. That difference matters when you are holding 4/0 copper THHN or a reel of 15kV XLPE that still has a legible tag.

Because we only buy wire and cable, the conversation is short. You send the tag and the legend, we tell you whether it is buyable and what the logistics look like. Nothing else in your warehouse needs to be sorted, staged or explained.

Where we buy

Statewide. The Charlotte metro, the Triangle, the Triad, western North Carolina, eastern North Carolina and the coast. The cities below are service areas, not offices — there is no branch to visit and no yard to drop material at without talking to us first.

What that means in practice

Every pickup is arranged. You are not asked to haul reels somewhere. Tell us the loading situation and the wire stays where it is until we come for it.

How we work

Written before loaded

Price, pickup and payment method are agreed before material moves. No renegotiation at the tailgate.

Scope stated plainly

Wire and cable only. If part of your load is out of scope we say so at the quote stage rather than after we arrive.

Reels counted, not eyeballed

The reel list you send is the list we work from, which keeps partial reels from turning into arguments.

Are you located in North Carolina?
We buy across North Carolina and arrange pickup statewide. The cities listed on this site are service areas, not staffed offices or physical yards, and we do not claim otherwise.
Do you buy from individuals?
Yes, as long as the wire is identifiable and you have the right to sell it. Most volume comes from contractors, distributors and plants, but a single reel from a homeowner's renovation is not unusual.
Do you buy anything other than wire?
No. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery and unrelated scrap are all outside our scope.
Is this the same company as ElectricalWireBuyers.org?
No. This is a separate North Carolina website with its own coverage and content. It is not a replacement for that site and does not redirect from it.
